Operations Clerk (24955)

PURPOSE:  Support requests for bus passes from Greyhound retirees and active employees as required. Ensure the Company has accurate information that relates to load and traffic volumes, run profitability and revenue per trip. Assist dispatch team with paperwork and data entry.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify travel eligibility of all travel requests received by telephone, fax and email.
  • Authorize and issue bus tickets through TRIPS.
  • Maintain records and create reports to ensure policies are being adhered to and ensure there is no abuse.
  • Separate by date and enter all TRIP envelopes into BPS.
  • Once entered, all envelopes must be stamped “ENTERED” with date and placed in a box for delivery to GPX Toronto.
  • Transfer BOSS records into BPS for mileage reporting.
  • Assist with pre-staging crew guides into BOSS
  • Assist dispatch department with data entry (CPAY and Days on/off records)
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma

 EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Communication/Customer service
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain performance
  • Ability to type 50 wpm

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment
